Odin's Journey (in Norway)

I have seen Odin coming from the fjords He was carved at the top of a wooden house He had colours of gold surrounding him He had that beautiful ship and was so sure of himself With his birds around him That told him everything Then the waterfall ran below my feet and And I looked at how it comes and how it goes I hoped that it washed away the fears Together with its whiteness and force It was weird to think that once Everybody made their own house With this readymade stuff we have We live our readymade lives. Then I thought about the swings in the middle of the woods And the swings we had when we were kids At the walnut tree at my grandmother's house that we could not use When the cars parked at least in the middle of the forest, the swings are safe a happy childhood can pass here a nostalgia ran through me the dark and narrow passages reminded of us
