alienation
that is what happens to all of us at some point
we understand it when our ankles hurt
or our heads are heavy
when we know we dont belong
and we dont want to indeed

then we know we dont belong

but you cannot answer
our hearts are wary
and our heads are full of knowledge
just dont know what to do with it
then we know we dont belong
and we dont want to belong indeed

just to sail away if it was possible
if it was possible to go away
to the place where we belong
it might be the womb of our mothers
or our mother tongue
or a poem that we heard somewhere and
we forgot what it was

liberation freedom independence
all was a lie
you made us believe
we were slaves still
in fact then came alienation
when we know we dont belong and
we dont want to belong indeed.

Sometimes it is too much love that we do not know what to do with it. Use it for good purposes or bad purposes. What kind of reaction does our body and mind give to too much love? Or let's say when a feeling is too much what is its difference from the other extreme feelings such as jealousy, hate, passion and wanting to possess a person? It is very hard to distinguish in a relationship, in a marriage, between men and women who plays (acts) more and who is more real. Who can understand who is lying less and who is more honest? The answers to these questions are never given. But one thing can be said about the extreme feelings: They do not contain so much empathy and compassion. And there are times that a person needs compassion but finds passion instead and there are times that a person needs protection and finds pity instead. Ottawa'da Lesvos'u Özlerken - Bölüm 1

O yüzden bunu verimli bir döneme dönüştürmeye karar verdim. İçim kıpır kıpır, deniz kıpırtısız Bülent Ortaçgil'in söylediği gibi. Ottawa kocaman ve soğuk bir deniz. Dümdüz ve dalgasız, çok güzel bir deniz ama deniz ve ben ayrı düştük... O yüzden işte şimdi ben sıcak bir adadaki anılarımı anlatacağım sizlere. Orda gittiğim bir müzeyi ziyaret edeceğiz. Anılar müzesi, babası İzmir'den zorla göç etmek zorunda kalmış olan bir kadının hikayesini, babasına hasretini, babasının ülkesine hasretini ve kendisinin babasının hasretini yorumlayışıyla ilgili bir hikaye bu. Babalar ve kızlar arasındaki ilişki özeldir. Nasıl erkek çocuklar ile anneler arasındaki ilişki özelse... Nasıl anlarlarsa birbirlerini. Bir kitapta bir yazar der ki "Ben hep babalarını çok seven kadınları sevdim..." Ben de galiba hep annelerini çok seven adamları seviyorum.
